Carnaby Cockatoos

A group of 40 Carnaby Cockatoos flew over Cypress Point Retreat to Fairway Park and beyond on Saturday morning(27th March). It is very unusual to see such a large group in August.
They have been feeding on the Parrot bush and Banksia cones in Carnaby Reserve for the last two weeks but did not appear to be included in the Cocky Count today.
If you have noticed any black or forest red tail cockatoos feeding or settling to roost around Connolly we would love to know where.

Thanks from the Friends of Carnaby Reserve.
